Minister Garneau to travel to Washington, D.C.

OTTAWA — The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Marc Garneau, will be in Washington, D.C., and deliver remarks at the United States Chamber of Commerce Aviation Summit.

Minister Garneau will also deliver remarks at the 2020 Great Lakes Day reception hosted by the Embassy of Canada.

During his trip, he will also meet members of Congress to discuss transportation issues of common interest such as aviation safety, the environment, and cooperation on ballast water.

Event: Minister Garneau will deliver remarks on Aviation Safety in Conflict Zones at the United States Chamber of Commerce Aviation Summit and hold a media availability after the Flying Across a Changing Globe panel.
