Minister of Transport and Mayor of Edmonton to make an important funding announcement to improve railway crossing safety in Edmonton

EDMONTON – The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, will make an important funding announcement to improve railway crossing safety in the City of Edmonton. The Mayor of Edmonton, Amarjeet Sohi, and Edmonton’s Deputy City Manager, Adam Laughlin, will also be present.

Minister Alghabra, Mayor Sohi and Adam Laughlin will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The news conference is taking place at a construction site and media must attend the safety briefing in order to participate.
