Open Data Day with Minister Joyce Murray - Descriptive transcript
Open Data Day is our opportunity to recognize the power of data to do great things; from monitoring environmental change to tracking how public money flows.
For this Government, sharing data is part of our commitment to openness and transparency, and it means Canadians can hold us to account.
When government data is more open, businesses can use it to provide innovative new services, Canadians can benefit from better government policies and services…And that’s at the heart of what I am trying to do.
The time has come for us to update our National Action Plan on Open Government and I want to hear from you.
Tell us what could be improved and where we need to go. Before May 1st, please visit our Website, and help shape the future of Open government and Open data in Canada!
