Narrative
The 2014 review of these regulations was driven by the need to reflect decisions by the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Board with regard to leave without pay.
The next review of these regulations will be driven by the need to align with the Accessible Canada Act, jurisprudence and the government priority to provide a work environment that is healthy, safe, barrier-free, respectful, fair and modern. This review is associated with the department’s Forward Regulatory Plan: 2021 to 2023.
