Notice to employees of the core public administration regarding the Treasury Board Secretariat application to the Pay Equity Commissioner for the authorization of multiple pay equity plans
Following the pay equity consultation with workforce parties that took place in March and early April, 2022, the Treasury Board Secretariat, on behalf of Treasury Board as the employer, is applying to the federal Pay Equity Commissioner to establish three separate pay equity plans for the core public administration. TBS filed this application with the Pay Equity Commissioner on June 24, 2022.

Information for Unionized Employees
Bargaining agents representing employees in the core public administration have been informed about the employer’s application for three pay equity plans.
If you are an employee in a bargaining unit and you require more information about the employer’s application, we encourage you to contact the bargaining agent that is certified to represent your bargaining unit.
Information for Non-Unionized Employees
Non-unionized employees, as defined in the Pay Equity Act, who would like to obtain a copy of the application are asked to contact their organization’s human resources branch.
