Government of Canada to announce major investment in Invictus Games Toronto 2017

Toronto – The Honourable Kent Hehr, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will announce a significant investment in the Invictus Games Toronto 2017 on behalf of the Government of Canada. He will be joined by Michael Burns, CEO, Invictus Games Toronto 2017, Wolfgang Hoffman, President, Jaguar Land Rover Canada, and a Team Canada athlete.

From September 23-30, 2017, Toronto will host the Invictus Games, a major international adaptive sporting competition for ill and injured still-serving and Veteran service members. This year, 550 competitors from 17 participating nations will compete at a number of venues across Toronto.
