What is the Canada Youth Summit?

The Canada Youth Summit is a forum to engage with 300 diverse youth from across the country on issues that are important to them and seek their feedback on the Government of Canada’s youth-related initiatives and technologies. The Summit will launch Canada’s first youth policy as well as the Canada Service Corps national signature program and highlight the importance of youth service while inspiring youth to serve their communities.

When is the Canada Youth Summit?

The Canada Youth Summit will take place in Ottawa, Ontario on May 2 to 3, 2019.

When do applicants need to be available?

Those that apply to the Challenge and wish to be considered for the prize must be available to travel and attend the Summit between May 1st and 4th. Applicants may need to make arrangements with school, work, family, and other commitments on their own in order to be available to attend the Summit.

What are the age requirements?

The Challenge is restricted to applicants between the age of majority in their province or territory of residence and 24 years old.

What is the prize?

Winners are invited to attend the inaugural Canada Youth Summit in Ottawa, Ontario, to take place May 2 and 3, 2019.  All costs associated with travel, accommodations, and hospitality will be covered for the duration of the trip.
