Essential qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or the equivalent*) from a recognized university and be a Canadian CPA member in good standing.
*The equivalent is defined as a bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, management, or economics.
Experience
-
Experience leading complex administrative operations in a professional or public sector environment.

Experience providing strategic advice and high-level administrative support to senior management (e.g. DX level or equivalent and above).

Experience in leading and managing administrative teams, including performance evaluations, career development planning, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative work culture.

Experience developing and implementing administrative programs, processes, or tools to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Experience in managing and coordinating administrative services to support program efficiency and compliance, including initiatives such as the CPA student program or similar professional development frameworks.
*The term “experience” refers to recent and significant experience and also refers to the breadth and scope of experience typically associated with performing the duties of the position for at least two years during the last five years.
