The following criteria were considered in this process

Essential qualifications

Education

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in contracting and procurement, supply chain management, material management, accounting, finance, business administration/technology, commerce, or economics and experience related to positions in the Financial Management subgroup – Contracting and Procurement.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal government procurement and contracting activities.

  • Experience developing procurement strategies, conducting procurement planning and risk assessments, and preparing solicitation documents — including the resulting contracts — for the acquisition of goods and services.

  • Experience supporting or participating in the development of evaluation methods and criteria, as well as in bid evaluations.

  • Experience providing advice and guidance on the procurement process and contract management to stakeholders (such as suppliers, legal counsel, clients, and management).

*The term “experience” refers to recent and significant experience and also refers to the breadth and scope of experience typically associated with performing the duties of the position for at least two years during the last five years.
