Essential qualifications

Education

A post-secondary degree/diploma from a recognized university or community college with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics or an employer-approved alternative such as an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience

  • Experience in preparing various reports and/or experience in accounting operations
  • Experience providing advice and support to clients
  • Experience in interpreting and/or applying policies and procedures
  • Experience in using a financial system, such as GX Financials, Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • Experience in managing competing deadlines and priorities
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), particularly the use of advanced functions, such as pivot tables in Excel.
