Education
A degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. *Degree refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.
Experience

Recent* and Significant** experience at the senior executive level leading enterprise-wide digital services groups (eg IM/data/IT).

Significant** experience leading complex multi-year digital projects or initiatives, for example: implementation of disruptive technology, digital modernization/transformation, digital service delivery, cloud adoption, data strategies, cybersecurity, or automation.

Recent* experience setting and executing digital strategy that aligns with departmental and whole-of-government priorities.

Recent* experience providing strategic advice and challenge function to Deputy Heads and executive committees on digital.

Recent* experience managing human & financial resources and complex portfolios, including investment planning, prioritization, and benefits realization.

Recent* experience leading leaders, including EX-level executives, and fostering strong succession planning and talent management
* Recent is defined as within the last 2 years.
** Significant experience is defined as a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Knowledge

Expert knowledge of Government of Canada digital policy landscape, including Treasury Board policies, directives, standards, and guidance.
