Essential qualifications

Education

  • Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position.

Experience

  • Providing strategic advice to managers and HR professionals on staffing legislation, policies, appointment options and complex staffing matters;

  • Researching, analyzing and interpreting staffing legislation, Public Service Commission direction and emerging HR issues;

  • Developing corporate staffing policies, governance instruments, processes, tools, templates and implementation guidance;

  • Designing and delivering staffing training or learning products for managers and HR professionals;

  • Leading complex staffing-policy or governance initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities; and

  • Preparing executive briefings, presentations and communications.
