Ottawa, February 26, 2026—Senior Assistant Auditor General Paule Anny Pierre will appear on behalf of the Auditor General of Canada before the Standing Committee on Public Accounts of the Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly in Yellowknife on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Mrs. Pierre will answer committee members’ questions about the Auditor General’s audit report on housing in the Northwest Territories, which was tabled in October 2025.
Date: Wednesday, March 4, 2026, after the Legislative Assembly rises (at approximately 6:00 pm Mountain Time)
The audit focused on whether Housing Northwest Territories provided Northwest Territories residents most in need with equitable access to housing and housing supports through its Public Housing and Homeownership programs.
