Description

Stories from the North: An Outdoor Snow-Screening

Free activity

Plus audio and video projections by local artists and Indigenous youth from Ottawa's Assembly of Seven Generations (A7G).

The stories come from northern Indigenous cultures that have thrived in the arctic regions of the world for thousands of years, sharing stories through the changing seasons of dark and light, colonialism and climate change. Although they may live far away from each other, they have in common the resilience of the language and the culture and share the magic of storytelling.
