Build the Bytown Snow Fort
Description
Discover the oldest stone building in Ottawa and celebrate winter with the Bytown Museum. Did you know that the architect of the building that now houses the Bytown Museum also built Rideau Hall? Thomas MacKay built the Commissariat Building in 1827 to serve as a storehouse during the construction of the Rideau Canal. Help us build a snow fort shaped like the museum! Materials will be provided by the museum; the activity is weather-dependent.
