Gathered for the July 1 festivities, Geneviève et Alain, Mia Kelly, Mélissa Ouimet, Marie-Clo and Double Magnum will unite the Gatineau and Ottawa shores on stage in the language of Molière as much as in that of Shakespeare. Crowned group of the year at the last gala Trille Or and Coup de foudre Réseau Ontario at the most recent edition of Contact ontarois, Geneviève and Alain will sing the vocal harmonies of their album J’attends encore, ensuring at the same time the artistic direction of the show. Multidisciplinary artist brimming with talent and born performer, Marie-Clo will certainly lead us into a frenzied dance thanks to her indie pop-electro universe. After having ignited big stages across the planet, rocker Mélissa Ouimet is back to the fold with her contagious energy for our utmost delight. Offering her songs filled with stories with deep themes and vivid emotions, Mia Kelly will prove that she is a booming artist who is making her way at breakneck speed! Throughout the ceremony, Canadian artists will light up the stage including Chantal Kreviazuk, DJ Shub, Lisa LeBlanc, Tenille Townes, Boogat, Sarahmée, Riit, Sebastian Gaskin, Josiane Comeau, Kellie Loder and Gurdeep Pandher. “Body marbling” is a painting process similar to hydro-dipping in which paint floats on water and is transferred to a person’s skin. Unlike the traditional oil-based paper technique, the paint used for this experience is water-based and non-toxic. |
