A Message from the Commissioner on the publication date of the Final Report

The Future of Sport in Canada Commission is happy to announce that its Final Report will be published on March 24, 2026.

Over the past year and more, we have heard from hundreds of individuals and groups from across this country, including athletes, parents, coaches, administrators, officials, academics, advocates, victims and survivors, and many others in the sport community. The Commission is grateful to all those who have come forward to share their insights and perspectives on safe sport and the sport system in Canada.

The Final Report will present a comprehensive set of findings and recommendations informed by the full range of views gathered throughout our engagement process. We look forward to sharing it with Canadians at that time.

It is my hope that this Final Report will contribute to lasting and meaningful progress across the sport system in Canada. By working together, we can strengthen trust, enhance accountability, and help ensure that sport in Canada is safe, inclusive, and grounded in the values that matter most to Canadians.
