News Release — Future of Sport in Canada Commission announces updates to its public online submission portal

Ottawa, April 16, 2025

The Future of Sport in Canada Commission is announcing updates to its public online submission portal as part of the next phase of its mandate, including the upcoming launch of its online public survey on June 16, 2025.

In accordance with the Commission’s mandate, the survey will seek input from the public about their experiences in, and perspectives regarding the Canadian sport system. Those interested in being notified once the survey is available can provide their email address.

Upon the launch of the survey, the Commission will be closing access to the Write to the Commission and Speak with the Commission participation options. Individuals and groups who wish to participate in the Commission’s work using those participation options have until June 16, 2025, to do so.

As part of its mandate, the Commission will be publishing a Preliminary Report in late August 2025 and will hold the National Summit on the Future of Sport on September 8 and 9, 2025, and September 11 and 12, 2025 in Ottawa, Ontario.
