Street closures

To make the most of Winterlude activities, we invite you to choose public transit and take advantage of the free Sno-Bus shuttle.

Caution

Street closures are subject to change without notice. Closing dates and times vary. Please consult the schedule below. No traffic is allowed except for people with a permit from the organization, residents, The Winterlude Sno-bus as well as emergency vehicles.

Ottawa

There will be no street closures in Ottawa.

Gatineau

No car traffic

(9 am to 6 pm)

When:

  • Saturdays, January 31, February 7 & 14
  • Sundays, February 1, 8 & 15
  • Monday, February 16

Streets affected:

  • Laurier Street (between Sacré-Coeur Boulevard and Dussault Street)
  • Dussault Street
  • Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street (between Sacré-Coeur Boulevard and Marston Street)
  • Champlain Street (between Sacré-Coeur Boulevard and Marston Street)
  • Marston Street

Exceptions: emergency and service vehicles, authorized event vehicles, local residents and workers, and buses operated by the STO and OC Transpo

No traffic

(9 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 3 pm)

When:

  • Monday, February 9
  • Thursdays, February 5 & 12
  • Fridays, February 6 & 13

Streets affected:

  • Laurier Street (between Sacré-Coeur and Dussault) and Dussault Street

No parking

  • Champlain Street (east/even side) between Marston and Sacré-Coeur
