As a recruit, you'll receive a competitive salary, extensive health and dental coverage, generous parental leave, and pension benefits. Recruits also start with three weeks of paid vacation per year. In addition to these benefits, The Department of Finance Canada allows the opportunity for flexible work arrangements and has implemented a hybrid work approach which aims, in a flexible way, to have a 50/50 split between on-site work and telework. This is consistent with the Common hybrid work model for the Federal Public Service. Specific work arrangements should be discussed with the manager at the time of hiring.
