There are new travel requirements for those who have been in any of the following 10 countries within the last 14 days: Botswana, Egypt, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe.

  • If you’re a foreign national: You cannot enter Canada right now.
    • This includes international students and foreign workers.
  • If you’re a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person registered under Canada’s Indian Act: You will be subject to enhanced pre-entry, arrival and post-arrival testing, screening and quarantine measures.

All other travellers to Canada must continue to meet the current entry, testing and quarantine requirements. There will soon be additional testing and quarantine requirements put in place.
