[60 seconds with...]

(FG) Hi! My name is Warrant Officer Frédérik Garneau.

I'm an Aviation Physiology Technician and I'm here to do the 60 seconds challenge.

So, in 3, 2, 1, here we go! OK!

"What are day-to-day duties of an Aviation Physiology Technician?"

We teach anatomy and physiology.

We get people hypoxic. We operate simulators. And sometimes, we can actually jump from aircraft.

"What is the best part of your job?"

Get people hypoxic, react to those situations.

Also, we have the chance to just get familiarizations with the aircraft, so we can actually fly in all the types of aircraft in Canada.

"How do you help your fellow CAF air crew member prepare for the mission?"

We help them to make sure they have a good seal. We reinforce all the risks regarding hypoxia and decompression sickness. And we make sure that everything is updated to make the new generation of RCAF the best there is.

"Where do AVS Phys Techs work?"

We work in Winnipeg, *** (01:06). We work in Toronto at the School of Operation Medecine. And we also work in Ottawa in CANSOFCOM.

"Why did you want to become an AVS Phys Tech?"

I love science, I love anatomy and physiology and I actually enjoy the RCAF.

"Name the most exciting thing you've done as a CAF member?"

I was inside of a human centrifuge and I was pulling 6G for 15 seconds. And this is the end of the 60 seconds. Thank you.
