(LQ) "Favorite post-run meal?" Either something really healthy with some proteins to help your muscles recover or poutine.

Hi, my name is Major Lesley Quinlan. I'm the Race Director for Canada Army Run and I'm here to do the 60 Seconds Challenge! Let's go.

"What is your favorite place to run?" Hum, the trails in British Columbia where I'm from.

"What charitable causes are being supported through fundraising this year?" We fundraise for Support Our Troops and Soldier On, a couple of really important charities for the CAF community.

"What is the Army Run?" It's the Canadian Army's largest outreach event of the year and it's also a fundraiser for Support Our Troops and Soldier On, a couple of really important charities that do awesome work for the CAF community.

"Which even will you be attending during the Army Run?" All of them!

"How do you prepare for a 5k or 10k run?" Do your slow runs slower, your fast runs faster and warm up very gently. Especially when you're old like me!

"One place on Earth where you could go running?" The dunes along the ocean in the Netherlands. One of my favorite spots.

"Favorite aspect of the Army Run?" Community. It's a wonderful atmosphere. It's great to see everyone come together, the runners are always so excited. It's generally awesome.
