(MEN) Let's go! Let's go!

(AM) Hello, everyone! Welcome onboard the HMCS Vancouver. I'm Sub-Lieutenant Abiman Mahendra, junior Combat Systems Engineer Officer onboard. And I'm here for RIMPAC 2022 to answer the 60 Seconds Challenge. Oops!

So, the first one: "Is this your first time at RIMPAC?"

Yep! It's my first time. It's my first ship, in fact, and also my first deployment. Hopefully, many more to come!

"Have you received… by the host country?"

So, I have met quite a few sailors from the United States Navy, and I've also met with the nations that have been part of RIMPAC: the New Zealanders, the Australians, and also the Indian ships.

Yes, and I've also managed to have a cup of tea in the Indian War Room, which is awesome. "If you could spend a day in a different role in any allies' military, what would it be?"

Probably the Royal Navy, in one of their Astute-class submarines. I know those machines are super awesome.

"What's your favorite thing to do when you're not at work?"

Oh... So, most of the days, I spend below deck, and when I really need some time off, I usually come up on the bridge and get some sun, see the sunrise or the sunset. It really helps charge me.

(WOMAN) That's it!

(AM) Cheers. Eh! (laughs)
