I'm here today to take the 60 second challenge.

Why did you join the Naval Reserve?

I needed a job to help pay my way through university, and so that I could acquire new skills for my civilian employment.

How can someone join the Naval Reserve?

You can call any recruiting centre across the country or contact any naval reserve division in 24 sites across this great country of ours.

How will the naval reserve units across Canada be celebrating the centennial?

Through grass-roots programs connecting with Canadians in their communities, and some sporting events.

What is the best thing about being a Naval Reservist?

The people.

What are you most looking forward to about celebrating the Naval Reserve centennial?

Celebrating our sailors and looking forward to our future, connecting with Canadians and telling them our story.

What is the most important thing the Naval Reserve has accomplished in the last 100 years?

Well, our contributions to the Royal Canadian Navy and the very sustainment of the Royal Canadian Navy since the Second World War.

That's it!
