Career Boot Camp 2022 - Back to Basics

The Federal Youth Network (FYN), in partnership with the Canada School of Public Service (CSPS), is hosting its annual Career Boot Camp (CBC) learning series from January 18 to January 28. As the largest conference in the Government of Canada, the CBC is focused on providing tangible career resources for new and young public servants navigating their public service careers through workshops, group discussions, mentoring sessions and kiosks.

Did you know that the Department of National Defence had the 8th highest number of attendees last year? With even more attendee’s expected this year, you don’t want to miss out!

CBC 2022 will focus on topics such as the GC hiring process, resume formats and techniques, networking, demonstrating experience, interviewing and more.

The FYN values equity, diversity and inclusion. They are currently co-leading efforts to establish a GC Panel Pledge in order to ensure that paneled events are reflective of the many perspectives and voices we have in Canada. As such you can expect to participate in a rich, meaningful discussion with diverse colleagues who are representative of the Canadian mosaic.

Follow the FYN's TwitterLinkedInFacebook and Instagram (you are now leaving the Government of Canada website)  for daily CBC 2022 updates.
