Lights, Camera, Action! Are you the next voice of the Defence Team?

Think you’ve got what it takes to become the host for a new video series launching on DND/CAF social media platforms? Good news – ADM (Public Affairs) is searching for charismatic and dynamic Defence Team members to take part in our new series, SITREP (situational report)!

SITREP (you are now leaving the Government of Canada website) is a weekly vlog-style video series featuring a recurring cast speaking directly to followers of DND/CAF Facebook and Instagram accounts about upcoming commemorative events and topics that are of interest to the Defence Team.

We want to hear from you if you are:

• a Defence Team member: CAF members and public service employees alike
• comfortable in front of a camera;
• can speak on a variety of subjects in a conversational manner; and
• looking to become involved and represent the Defence Team.

Please submit your entry by February 21, 2022, following the steps below:

1. Record a 30-45-second video in the language of your choice about one of the following topics below. Be sure to include a call to action such as participating in a virtual event or encouraging viewers to leave a comment.
   • Black History Month
   • Indigenous Awareness Week
   • International Women’s Day
2. Upload your video to this shared folder using Google Drive (accessible from a non-DWAN device) or on SharePoint (must be logged into ECN account).
3. Email Internal_Communications_internes@forces.gc.ca to notify us of your entry. Be sure to include your name, where you work, tell us a little about yourself and why you want to be part of the SITREP series.
