New CSPS course available: Disability Inclusion and Identifying Barriers to Accessibility (INC 115)

July 25, 2022 - Defence Stories

Check out the new Canada School of Public Service (CSPS) online self-paced course Disability Inclusion and Identifying Barriers to Accessibility (INC 115) which was designed to support an accessibility-confident public service.

The course is the result of great collaboration and co-creation with various partners, including public servants who self-identify as having a range of disabilities.

This new resource will help all Defence Team members challenge common assumptions and beliefs about people with disabilities and shift the focus from the impairment to the barrier. The goal is to ensure that we all learn about the different obstacles faced by people with disabilities.

Consider completing this course in support of your organization’s learning priorities. By individually taking proactive steps, we, as a team, build workplaces that are inclusive, accessible and barrier-free for all.

Contact the CSPS Client Contact Centre if you have questions.
