Discussion in French with Simultaneous English Translation - The Defence Team Pride Organisation in collaboration with the Eastern Canada Strategic Partner Engagement Office (BEPS-East) is proud to bring you this webinar whose objective is to discuss sexually diverse women and their specific issues, on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022, from 10:30 to 12:00 Eastern Time.

Located at the crossroads of oppressions based on gender and sexual orientation, lesbian communities face many prejudices, fuelled by a dominant culture that still offers a rather negative image of them tainted by patriarchy. Because they must simultaneously overcome barriers related to their status as women and their sexual orientation, lesbians are very often absent from business networks and positions of responsibility. An invisibility that we will try to analyze with our speakers: Martine Roy and Colonel Marie-Ève Bégin.

Log on and meet Martine Roy, Regional Director, LGBTQ2+ TD Business Development - Quebec and Eastern Canada and veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces as well as Colonel Marie-Ève Bégin, Special Advisor to the Head of Professional Conduct and Culture for a discussion moderated by Chantal Ruel, Director, Policy, Engagement & Strategic Partnerships. Professional Conduct and Culture and Policy Lead DTPAO.

REGISTER via Zoom.
