Decommissioning of Canada Post Epost Service – Update

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has provided an update on the decommissioning of epost service effective end of December 2022.  Starting October 1, 2022, tax slips and pay stubs will no longer be posted on epost in preparation for the full decommissioning of epost services.

What is epost service?

Epost is a service provided by Canada post allowing employees without access to the DND network, including employees on leave without pay, retired employees, employees on maternity leave, and more, to receive their pay stubs and tax slips.

What epost users need to know?

Employees who have an epost account or have registered for an epost account by June 2022 can continue to receive their pay stubs and tax slips on the Canada Post epost webpage and mobile application until September 30, 2022. If you do not have an epost account, you will receive a printed copy of your pay stubs and tax slips by regular mail.

As of October 1, 2022, updated tax slips and pay stubs will be mailed to epost user’s home address until March 2023, or until the launch of MyGCPay for external users, if later than March.

If you are an epost user, you should download and save your tax slips and pay stubs (uploaded on epost prior to October 1, 2022) on your personal device or print them.

All employees, including epost users, are encouraged to review and update their mailing address in PeopleSoft and Phoenix. This will ensure you receive your pay stubs and tax slips to the correct address if you become an employee:
