General labour and trades

Do you see yourself working at a job site rather than a cubicle? Would you rather work with tools than at a desk? The Department of National Defence (DND) is looking for skilled tradespeople in locations across Canada.

Whether working in the dockyards of Halifax or Victoria, maintaining CAF aircraft in Winnipeg or repairing tanks in Petawawa, many DND civilians work in skilled trades. In fact, tradespeople make up nearly 50% of our civilian (non-military) workforce.
