You were part of the assisted departures out of the Palestinian Territories

To access free settlement services, your temporary resident document must have the note “MOME2023” in the remarks section at the bottom of the document.

If your document has the note, you can get settlement services from a service provider organization in your area (Quebec is not included).

You will need to bring your temporary resident document with you to show the service provider.

If your document doesn’t have the MOME2023 keyword

If your document doesn’t have the remark, you can request an updated temporary resident document by following these steps:

  1. Submit a request using the Crisis web form.
  2. Select “I need help with something else and I am impacted by the crisis in Israel and the Palestinian Territories.”
  3. Complete the web form and in the “Tell us about your situation” section, explain that you were part of assisted departures from the Palestinian Territories but you can’t access settlement services because your temporary resident document doesn’t have “MOME2023” in the remarks section.
  4. Include the address where you want your updated temporary resident document mailed to.
  5. Upload a copy of your passport or valid travel document and a copy of your existing temporary resident document.

After we verify your information, we’ll mail you an updated temporary resident document. You need to show it to service provider organizations to access free settlement services.

You came to Canada through the special measures for extended family in Gaza

To access free settlement services, the temporary resident document that you got at the port of entry when you arrived in Canada must have the note “MOME2023” in the remarks section at the bottom of the document.

If your document has the note, you can get settlement services from service provider organizations in your area (Quebec is not included).

You will need to bring your temporary resident document with you to show the service provider.
