Paul Clark is the Head of Private Wealth Management and Financial Planning and Executive Vice President at TD Bank Group. Paul has built an extensive career that spans across the Bank’s businesses, including:

• retail and commercial banking
• wealth management
• internal audit
• TD Securities

Paul joined TD in 1983 as a part-time Customer Service Representative. In 1989, he began his full-time career in Commercial Banking and progressed through increasingly senior positions in the Greater Toronto Area. Over his career, he has worked across Canada and the US and he has also been responsible for teams in Europe and Singapore. Paul joined TD Wealth in 2016 to lead TD Direct Investing. He was instrumental in growing the business, achieving the number 1 online brokerage ranking for self-directed investors and traders. Paul was also critical in leading Direct Investing's digital innovation roadmap and leading the Wealth Business Architecture and Delivery teams.

Paul has played a leading role in TD’s United Way Campaign for several years. He is also currently the Chair of the People with Disabilities Committee and a member of the Diversity Leadership Council at TD.

Paul and his wife Susan live in Toronto with their 2 children.

Anita Huberman is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Surrey Board of Trade. The Surrey Board of Trade is one of the Top 10 Boards of Trade/Chambers of Commerce in Canada. Anita has served at the Surrey Board of Trade for 29 years in a variety of roles.

Anita has been:

• awarded the Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Medal
• named one of 15 outstanding Canadians for her work in the private sector and during the pandemic, and
• is an Honorary Captain of the Royal Canadian Navy

Anita also was:

• a Business in Vancouver Top 40 Under 40 award winner, and
• awarded the 2019 Surrey Community Builder of the Year

Anita serves on the:

Anita also served as a Trustee of Canada’s National Film Board for 6 years, appointed by Canada’s Minister of Heritage.

Karl Blackburn is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Conseil du patronat du Québec (CPQ). He has held the role of President and Chief Executive Officer since June 2020.

CPQ represents the interests of over 70,000 employers of all sizes and business areas from both the private and para-public sectors. Working initially as an entrepreneur, a politician, and manager, Karl occupies a central position in Quebec’s business ecosystem.

Karl is a member of the Comité consultatif du travail et de la main-d’œuvre. He is actively involved in advocating for job training that is tailored to the needs of employers in Quebec. He is also a board member of:

Diane J. Brisebois is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Retail Council of Canada (RCC). She has held this position since 1995. Diane is bilingual and has spent more than 38 years leading retail industry associations in Canada.

She currently serves as a member of the:

• Governance and Finance Committees of the Board of the Toronto Region Board of Trade
• Board of Stewardship Ontario
• Advisory Boards of the St. Mary’s University David Sobey Centre for Retail
• School of Retailing of the University of Alberta, and
• Federation of International Retail Associations

She also served as the Chairman of the Board of the:

• Canadian Society of Association Executives
• Traffic Injury Research Foundation
• Fair Factory Clearinghouse, and
• Federation of International Retail Associations

In addition, Diane served as a Director on the Board of the:

Ms. Brisebois is a native of Montreal, Quebec and now resides in Toronto, Ontario.

Andy Canham is the President of SAP Canada. He is dedicated to helping Canadian companies transform their digital businesses to become the best run and sustainable versions of themselves.

He is responsible for the overall strategy, and customer and partner engagements for Canada.

Andy joined SAP Canada in April 2017 as Chief Operating Officer of the region, overseeing business performance, including partnership strategy, pre-sales, and operations.

He has spent his career at the forefront of technology, and leverages his 25 years of experience in managing and growing businesses in his executive leadership role.

Prior to co-founding and leading Eclipsys Solutions, and overseeing Operations at Vital Insights Andy was senior vice president for Oracle’s Systems division for North America. He guided the company’s commercial hardware sales integration with Sun Microsystems. He was also the company’s Senior Vice-President of Global Systems sales, and oversaw Sun’s Canadian business unit as President.

Andy started his career in systems engineering where he worked at IBM Canada. He also led Western Canada for Hewlett Packard.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Naveed Irshad is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Manulife Canada. Naveed leads the implementation of Manulife’s growth strategy across the Canadian market.

He is a member of Manulife’s Executive Leadership Team. Naveed has almost 30 years of industry experience and has a deep understanding of the global life insurance industry.

Most recently, Naveed was Global Head of Inforce Management and Head of Manulife’s North American Legacy Business. During this time, he led initiatives to improve the profitability and risk profile of the inforce business.

Prior to that, Naveed rejoined Manulife in 2014 and was appointed as President and CEO, Manulife Singapore. He was responsible for the overall development of Manulife's business operations in Singapore. This included key business segments such as protection, retirement solutions, high net worth and wealth management across a multi-channel distribution platform.

Having initially joined Manulife in 1995, Naveed held a variety of business roles in Toronto and Boston. Prior to leaving Manulife in 2011, he was the Senior Vice President, Product and Insurance Risk Management. During this time, he was responsible for new products and insurance risk, globally.

Naveed holds a B.Sc. in Actuarial Math from Concordia University. He is a Fellow of the:

• Society of Actuaries (FSA)
• Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA)

Naveed is also a:

• Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
• Board Member of Ascend Canada (promoting Pan-Asian leadership); and
• served as Deputy President, Life Insurance Association of Singapore

Stephen Liptrap is a member of the TELUS Health Board.

Prior to his retirement in November 2022, Stephen was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lifeworks. Lifeworks is a global wellbeing solutions provider serving more than 25,000 organizations in 160 countries.

Stephen joined LifeWorks senior executive team in 2008, bringing with him more than 25 years of senior executive experience. He has extensive experience in the high tech, consumer packaged goods and retail sectors. In 2010, he was appointed Executive Vice President and General Manager of LifeWorks’ largest business unit, Employee Support Solutions. In 2016, Stephen was appointed Chief Operating Officer, responsible for leading the Company’s business operations and functions.

In 2022, he led LifeWorks through its friendly acquisition by TELUS to establish TELUS Health. TELUS Health is a leading global health and well-being provider based on the global footprint of the LifeWorks business.

He is a member of the:

He has been a member of the:

Stephen holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School, Western University. He also is a graduate of the Harvard Advanced Management Program and is a Certified Human Resources Executive.

Jad Shimaly is the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of EY Canada. He is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience in advancing business performance. Jad brings deep financial and operational experience to his leadership role. This includes shaping and implementing innovative transformation and organizational redesign strategies across Canada. He serves as EY Canada’s Chief Inclusiveness Officer and is a passionate champion of diversity and inclusion.

Jad also sits on the board of directors of the BlackNorth Initiative. He also serves as a member of the:

• Business Council of Canada
• Canadian Directors Network

He earned his MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and his BS in Business Economics from Notre Dame University in Beirut.

Tamara Vrooman is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR). She is a transformational leader with a strong financial background. Tamara understands the intrinsic link between a strong and sustainable economy and a healthy community.

Prior to her role as CEO of the Vancouver Airport Authority, Tamara held roles as the:

• President and CEO of Vancity
• Deputy Minister of Finance for the Province of British Columbia
• Secretary to the Treasury Board
• CEO of the Public Sector Employers' Council

Organizations, leaders and governments at all levels have sought Tamara’s expertise on topics related to the economy, social change, or environmental sustainability, and often at the intersection of all 3. Most recently, Tamara was appointed Simon Fraser University’s 12th Chancellor.

Tamara chairs the board of the Canada Infrastructure Bank and the Rick Hansen Foundation, in addition to other board roles. She is the recipient of multiple awards, including:

• the Order of British Columbia (2019)
• the Peter Lougheed Award for Leadership in Public Policy (2016)
• BC CEO of the Year Award – Major Private Company, Business in Vancouver (2015)

Ms. D’Intino is a long-time champion of disability inclusion. She founded Aequum Global Access which provides strategic advice to companies on workplace best practices for disability inclusion and accessibility.

She presently serves on ESDC’s Service Advisory Committee and is a co-chair for the Canada Accessibility Network (CAN) – education and training program. Ms. D’Intino continues to actively work with several federal, provincial and municipal departments and agencies as a Senior Accessibility Consultant and Strategist to promote inclusion and cultural change.

Ms. D’Intino is the founder and past co-chair of the Canadian Financial Institute on Assistive Technologies (CFIAT). CFAIT promotes industry change for accessible financial services and products.

She has also participated in various initiatives, networks and councils, including:

• The International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP)
• The Job Opportunity Information Network (JOIN)
• The Information Communication Technology Standards
• Employment committees related to the Accessibility for Ontarians Disability Act.

In 2013, Ms. D’Intino received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal from Lieutenant-Governor David Onley for her work in advancing employment for persons with disabilities.

She has a Master’s Degree in Inclusive Design from OCAD University in Toronto, Ontario and is a certified Project Management Institute member. She is bilingual (English and French) and has lived experience after losing her sight due to complications to glaucoma.
