Accessible Canada – National AccessAbility Week Funding – 2025 and 2026

This funding opportunity aims to support projects that increase awareness through National Accessibility Week (NAAW) activities in 2025 and in 2026. It will fund projects that improve understanding and knowledge of Canadians on accessibility and disability inclusion, reduce stigma and attitudinal barriers towards persons with disabilities, and share best practices and lessons learned related to NAAW activities within the disability community.

Funding amount:
Up to $100,000 or $200,000 (with special requirements) for a project that is up to 2 years
Application period:
May 29, 2024 to July 17, 2024 at 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
Who can apply:
Eligible organizations can apply for up to $200,000 for projects that increase awareness through National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) activities

Information sessions

We will hold information sessions to give an overview of this application process. You can participate online or by teleconference.

  • June 12, 2024 at 2 p.m. EDT (English session)
  • June 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. EDT (French session)

The session will include langue des signes québécoise (LSQ) and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, as well as live captioning.
