Telecommunications and Non-Telecommunications Services

Invoicing for – telecommunications and non-telecommunications services

On April 1, 2012, Shared Services Canada (SSC) assumed the responsibility for the receipt and payment of invoices for services for 43 partner organizations. These are for a wide range of telecommunications services and non-telecommunications services.

SSC receives a significant volume of invoices for services and products rendered to its partners, and is putting measures in place to process the invoices as quickly as possible. SSC officials are working closely and cooperatively with vendors to address individual situations.

Payment of interest on late payments will be issued on a monthly basis using the Receiver General Payments Rates available.

Submitting invoices

Vendors who are interested in entering into business with SSC must Register as a Supplier in the Supplier Registration Information System in order to obtain a procurement business number. This is a necessary step toward doing business with SSC.

All invoices that fall under SSC’s mandate should include all the necessary information contained in your contract requirements, and should also indicate the following to avoid delays:

  • the type of service to be paid; and
  • the contract/purchase order number.
