Title: Wind Turbine Noise Calculations

Description: Results from the calculation of wind turbine noise levels for 1238 homes in the study. Noise results are presented according to the distance from the closest wind turbine to the participant's home.

Title: Analysis, Modeling, and Prediction of Infrasound and Low Frequency Noise from
Wind Turbine Installation Phase 1: PEI Site Final report

Description: Report on the experimental validation of predicted low frequency sound and infrasound levels for distances up to 10 km. Predicted long range propagation of sound levels was experimentally verified for a small wind park with 4 turbines. Calculations used the Parabolic Equation (PE) and Fast Field Programs (FFP) at frequencies from 2.4 to 45 Hz. Similarity equations were used with data from a 10 m high weather station to determine sound speed profiles. Sound pressure levels were measured and verified at 125m, 1km, 2.5km, 5km, and 10km.

Title: Analysis, Modeling, and Prediction of Infrasound and Low Frequency Noise from
Wind Turbine Installation Phase 2: Southern Ontario Site Final report

Description: A report on methods for prediction of long range propagation of sound levels for a generic wind turbine site. Calculations are based on the results from Phase 1: PEI Site Final Report and can be used for frequencies below 100 Hz for worst case conditions.

Title: Summary of wind turbine noise propagation below 100Hz

Description: Describes specialized equipment and procedures that are necessary to measure and predict low frequency noise and infrasound at distances up to 10 km from wind turbines. Also includes comments on effects of weather, wind direction and background noise.
