Privacy Impact Assessment Summaries

Privacy impact assessments (PIA) evaluate how new or redesigned programs and services may affect individuals’ privacy and help identify and mitigate risks. PIAs support transparency and accountability, and help maintain public confidence in how the government manages personal information.


Government of Canada institutions must make summaries of their PIAs available to the public. The Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada has completed the following PIAs.
