My sincere condolences to the Mulroney family. May your pain ease soon and be replaced by a constant flood of joyful and happy memories that made up your life with your husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered as a strong leader to the world but the far stronger remembrance is yours for the man who loved you all. My sympathies on your tremendous loss.
I would like to express my condolences on the passing of a dear husband father and grandfather. He was for the cause of Canada to make it a better country. He left his mark on the world that will never be forgotten. The one thing that I will remember most is that we always there for everyone. Keep your memories of him in your heart. My father always used to tell me that when my time comes, and it will come, if your wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren can say, " Papa James was a man with integrity" you've had a good life - if not shame on you.
Mr. Mulroney was one of a handful of politicians who had "integrity. His honesty and empathy will live on in the hearts of Canadians. He was a Great man. After losing my father at 91 yrs. young I can assure you Mr. Mulroney will be with you all daily.

I was a pediatrics resident at CHEO, in Ottawa. We had a young teen with cystic fibrosis who was very ill, and who spent a lot of time in hospital. The Mulroneys made it their personal mission to keep her spirits up. They'd visit after official engagements, dressed to the 9's. There'd be nervous RCMP in every stairwell, as they hadn't properly screened the place. No publicity; no one ever knew. Just caring - straight from the heart.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Canada's 18th prime minister. We had met once at the book signing of the Memoirs at a Calgary Indigo bookstore. It was an honour and a privilege meeting a head of government who so profoundly shaped our country.
My condolences go out to the Mulroney Family at this difficult time. Your Father as our Prime Minister contributed so much to Canada. I was brought to tears when I heard of the stories where he touched both those he knew and virtual strangers. May you rest Sir in a well deserved peace.

I had the good fortune to see Brian Mulroney in action during the 1984 election campaign, in Morden Manitoba. Brian electrified the huge crowd with is vision, passion and articulate speech. He was a great PM with many accomplishments.

On February 29, 2024, Canada lost one of the Greatest Prime Ministers this country ever had. A man of intelligence, integrity, and conviction. Brian was the best Prime Minister in my lifetime (I am 84).
He was a great statesman and I was always proud when he was out of the country representing Canada. His environmental achievements were significant. He was a man that listened to the people and obviously to his talented staff, one fo whom was Elisabeth May. God Speed, Sir.

In the 80's Mr. Mulroney come to our plaza at Yonge St. And Churchill Ave, in North York.
I was brought with my parents to the meet and great. I saw him standing on the platform speaking into a microphone. When I returned to school that Monday. We had a report to have what did we do during the weekend. I drew a picture of Mr. Mulroney on stage. I believe I still have that picture somewhere.
I will never forget that day. I was about 7-9years old. I am now 50 years old.
When the Irish hero Cu Chulainn died they said "And he went to a pillar-stone which is in the plain, and he put his breast girdle round it that he might not die seated nor lying down, but that he might die standing up. As Prime Minister he brought the GST and NAFTA and the same party that vilified him, later sought out his counsel to maintain them. Securus judicat orbis terrarum.
