Moisture proficiency testing
Moisture content is an important quality factor in the grain sector, impacting grain quality, appearance, storage and safety. The Canadian Grain Commission offers moisture proficiency testing to evaluate the performance of equipment and the effectiveness of methods used to measure the moisture content of wheat. Proficiency testing will also help identify potential issues with moisture meters before they fall out of specification.
Two types of moisture proficiency tests are available:
- Moisture proficiency test – Canada Western Red Spring wheat – 260 grams
- Moisture proficiency test – Canada Western Red Spring wheat – 700 millilitres
Multi-site companies may have up to 2 subscriptions to our moisture proficiency testing program.
