Connectivity

High-performing connectivity and resilient networks are the very foundation of Digital Government and the basis for all Government of Canada (GC) services.

Canadians expect to access digital programs and services from anywhere—at any time. To achieve this, the GC depends on connectivity delivered by fast, appropriately secured and reliable networks.

Shared Services Canada (SSC) works with our partners and clients to provide network infrastructure and connectivity services to over 400,000 Government of Canada workers—including employees, military members, police officers and more—across more than 145 federal organizations. It connects close to 4,000 sites in Canada and 200 internationally to effectively deliver services to Canadians and to advance Canada’s global commitments.
