Her Majesty was my Queen for 70 years. Now she's gone, and humanity feels more flimsy somehow, less solid, less dependable. We must not let strength of character and commitment to duty pass with her. I think of these lines from John McRae's poem..."to you from failing hands we throw the torch, be yours to hold it high".
I loved her. I miss her. I will always miss her.
My deepest condolences to her family and all who loved her.
Thank you for you life of service, for upholding such dignity and honour for decades. I will miss you.
My sorrowful condolences to the family of our truly gracious queen.
Thank you your Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. You were a remarkable woman.

Her Majesty Elizabeth II will be in our collective memory forever. Her devotion to all people throughout her life and her epic reign will serve us well to model our thoughts, words, and deeds. Her example will be a beacon to guide us through a world that has become more transformed and divided since she ascended the throne. May she Rest In Peace. May her family’s memories of her sustain them and remind us all that we all can find and share our inner best with our brothers and sisters.
I grew up with you as my Queen. The only monarch I have known. And now I stand with your family, the UK and the rest of the world mourning your death. Knowing that it was inevitable, but never really expecting it would really happen. The loss of your guidance, stoic nature, devotion and grace is immeasurable. You will forever be in my heart.
My condolences to the Family of our Queen. Thank You for your services to your country. May you R.I.P.

I composed a small verse in honour of her memory:
Remember that first helping hand
When struggles grew too bold;
The first glance at another soul,
And final wave to friend, or foe.
Remember what has gone before,
Eternal history's mark:
Prevent the dreams she wished for us
From fading into dark...

I have loved and admired Queen Elizabeth my whole life. I remember hearing the organ music on the radio the morning King George VI death was announced. I dressed up to watch her coronation on my uncle's television and kept scrapbooks of royal visits. I took the train to Ottawa with my mother to see her in Oct 1957 and was almost close enough to touch her. She was an inspiration to us all. May she rest in peace.
With respect and appreciation for Her Majesty’s service to our country and the Commonwealth. / Avec respect et appréciation pour les services rendus à notre pays et au Commonwealth par Sa Majesté la reine Elizabeth II.

Her Majesty's life and faith was a gift from above to all of Canada's peoples. As she has passed from this realm to the next we reflect on a life given in service and God's blessing on her and this nation. May our new King be similarly watched over and Canadians be grateful for, what is, the best form of government in the world.
I remember watching Her Majesty's COVID speech and thinking "there won't be another person on earth who can offer such a sense of calmness". Thank you for your service, and for being our rock and guiding light during difficult times, Your Majesty. You'll always be my queen.

Dear Royal Family,
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was an example of service, dignity, manners and grace for me.
My late Mother admired The Queen and Princess Diana as role models of class, decency and kindness. My mother taught me from a young boy that class isn't about money, race, or your level of education, class is about how you carry yourself and how you treat others the way you want to be treated.
Queen Elizabeth will be missed dearly.
My deepest sympathy to your family in this time of great loss.
Myself and my family wish to thank Her Majesty for all the hard work she has done throughout her entire life and the sacrifices she has made. We are proud to be a part of the commonwealth and call her our Queen. We know King Charles will carry on with her same compassion and strength going forward and I want to express my heartfelt condolences to him and the rest of the Queen's family and friends for their terrible loss. She will be greatly missed.
My heart aches for your family. I am sorry for your loss. May happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time.
Our sincere sadness for the loss of our dear Queen Elizabeth. We had the grace to unexpectedly see the Queen in 2002 when she visited Victoria BC. My family were standing alone along Dallas Road and her car suddenly drove past us, we waved and she waved back directly at our three year old son, it was amazing. We have a photo of this special moment. She will always be in our hearts and always remembered . God Bless the Queen and her family .
We have been fortunate to have had 70 years with our Queen! She has set a tremendous example of courage, commitment and dedication to the world. I appreciate so much that Government House made arrangements for me to personally meet Her Majesty on her last visit to Ottawa when we shared a mutual interest in the Canadian Arctic and she enjoyed hearing my stories about dog sled patrol with the RCMP.
May you find some comfort during this time of sorrow in the outpouring of love for the Queen. Sending my deepest condolences to you all.
