As we mourn our Queen's passing, we have been struck by the overwhelmingly positive atmosphere. We've laughed and we've shed tears as we've watched the news coverage.
Our personal memories go back to Her Majesty's coronation which we watched on television. We saw her at events in Canada 7 times. We really need the positive leadership of a Constitutional Monarchy in Canada today.
Your Majesty - thank you. Long Live King Charles.
It’s in moments like these that words fall short. We are honoured to have had her in our lives.
Forever Honoured, Loved and will be eternally missed. R.I.P.
God Bless Her Family

If we all had a bit more of your dedication to service, community and family this world would be a better place. Our family stands by your family, in these hours of mourning. We hope to cross paths one day.
...I will always remember you in your gown and crown on the back of the train waving to a couple of us kids at the outer train station, and then, one Canada Day, you waving to a couple of us from your car when we were on the Ottawa Canal canoeing. I pray that you are in Heaven with Jesus!
Rest In Peace your Majesty. You have been a pillar for Canadians. Displaying strength, conviction, and grace. We have been very fortunate to have had your influence. Thank you.

This is such a sad occasion. Elizabeth II was a true Queen in every sense. It is very hard to imagine living a life where duty always came first for 7 long decades. She was such an inspiration and will be hugely missed by a good part of the world.
With tears I say "a fond goodbye and may you now finally have a chance to rest".
Thank you for all you have done. You will be greatly missed.
All my condolences to her family for the loss of Queen Elizabeth. There was always a sense of familiarity and stability with the Queen. What I appreciated about the Queen was her sense of duty to the people in her various realms, and to the Commonwealth. Anything that promotes communication, like the Commonwealth, across the disparate peoples of the world is only for our benefit. Thank you, Queen Elizabeth, for your service, grace and sense of duty to all people. I will truly miss you.

Rest In Peace your majesty, you were a phenomenal leader.
We’ve all dreaded the day we’d have to say good-bye to Queen Elizabeth. I’ll never forget my 12 year-old self looking intently for her in the crowd at Moncton’s Victoria Park for New Brunswick’s Bicentennial back in 1984. We sang God Save the Queen every day in primary school, and we pledged to do our best to God, the Queen, and our country in Brownies. Her picture hung in every school I attended. She was always a steadfast presence to me, and I will miss her immensely.
I will always remember her as my Queen, rest in peace
What a remarkable life and a dedication to duty. I was fortunate to see the Queen during her last Toronto visit, outside of the Royal York. A moment I will never forget. I will miss you, your majesty.

Prayers and Condolences to the Royal Family.
I am sad to hear of Her Majesty's passing. I immigrated to Canada from Europe in early 1950's. I became a proud Canadian, at that time I pledged my alliance to you Queen Elizabeth 11. I have no regrets. "Thank You Your Majesty" for all the good that you have done for your country and beyond. Your success and accomplishments were many. You did them willingly throughout turbulent and difficult times. My condolences to all the Royal Family. God save the King!
I wish to convey my deepest sympathy to The Royal Family on the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and monarch. In her memorable and hope-filled Coronavirus Broadcast, the queen's words "We will meet again", reminding us of the lyrics from Vera Lynn's wartime song, continue to resonate deeply with me. They felt like words for the world, but coming from a wise, reassuring mother. Thank you, Your Majesty, (Ma'am"), for everything.
No one could have served the Commonwealth better than Her Majesty the Queen. For those of us in our 60's and 70's losing Her Majesty is like losing a parent as She has been there throughout our entire lifetimes. May She rest in peace beside Her beloved Philip. For me, the world will never be the same without Her.
RIP
In 1997 the Queen visited Brantford and I took my ailing mother to see her. My mother was near the end of her life but she had always loved the Queen, having been born in Scotland and having nursed in World War II as a maternity midwife and nurse in the south of England. My mother’s face lit up as I hadn’t seen it light up in years when the Queen drove by not more than 2 feet away from us in her beautiful yellow floral dress and hat. My mother was thrilled.
My sincere condolences to the Royal Family. Our beautiful outstandingly dedicated Queen Elizabeth will be missed. Thank you.
Wonderful Queen. Thank you, ma'am.
Your Majesty, While I am a Senior you have been with me throughout my life. An example to all of us of devotion, commitment , kindness and service to us all.
Thank you for all you have given to so many. May you be with your beloved Philip, your Parents and Margaret , Rest In Peace, Thank you.
Thank you for your dedication to public service and duty to your country, The Realms and the Commonwealth over these many years. You were and are an inspiration for many women. Rest In Peace.

For all your sacrifices, thank you. Your work here is done.

How very lucky we ALL were, to have someone who makes saying goodbye so hard. An unforgettable woman. Offering our most sincere condolences to the Royal Family.
My mother felt a special kinship with the Queen. She and the Queen were born at the same time. They had the same year of marriage (1947) and became first-time mothers in 1948. My mother was thrilled to see the Queen in person when she visited the Mohawk Chapel in 1984. I am saddened by the Queen's passing but at the same time grateful for her remarkable life and deep commitment to service. My deepest condolences to the Royal Family.
Profondes sympathies ..
