The residents and businesses of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek are one step closer to accessing new growth and job opportunities thanks to a Government of Canada investment of $220,643. Marc Serré, Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt, made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for FedNor.

Atikameksheng Anishnawbek will hire a project manager to work with the engineers, organizing community consultations on designs, developing governance and leasing policies and processes, and working with potential tenants.
