Follow-up activities

Although piperazine is not considered to be harmful to human health or to the environment at current levels of exposure, this substance is associated with effects of concern. Therefore, there may be a concern if exposures were to increase. For this reason, the proposed follow-up activity is to apply the SNAc provisions of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA) to piperazine.
