IGDRP/Health Canada/CAPRA Symposium
Regulatory Collaboration and Emerging Issues in Generic Medicines - IGDRP and other Initiatives Responding to Today’s Demands and Future Challenges
June 9, 2017 (Ottawa, Ontario)
The availability of quality medicines plays an increasingly important role in helping to address rising health care costs and in promoting access to essential medicines worldwide. The International Generic Drug Regulators Programme (IGDRP) was created to promote collaboration and convergence in generic drug regulatory programs in order to address the challenges posed by increasing workloads, globalisation and complexity of scientific issues.
In collaboration with the IGDRP and the Canadian Association of Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (CAPRA), Health Canada will be hosting this one-day symposium. It will be an ideal opportunity for professionals involved in the area of pharmaceuticals to hear from key international regulators (for example, from Canada, the United States, Europe, Australia, Brazil, the World Health Organization, among others) and industry representatives on the drivers and the progress of the IGDRP activities. Presentations will also be given on initiatives to address challenging and emerging issues facing regulators and the pharmaceutical industry.
The full agenda and details on registration for the important event are available on the CAPRA website.
