Survey of caregivers under the Home Child Care Provider and Home Support Worker Pilots
Ottawa, March 8, 2024 – Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is conducting a survey of caregivers who participated in the Home Child Care Provider and Home Support Worker Pilots.
About the survey
The department would like to learn more about the views and experiences of those who have worked as or who are currently working as a caregiver in Canada through the Home Child Care Provider and Home Support Worker Pilots. The survey will help the department understand what is working well and how we can improve future caregiver programming.
Participation in the survey is voluntary and confidential. We only use the information from the surveys to help improve our programs and services. Participants’ answers won’t affect any past, current or future applications or status with IRCC.
The survey will be available online from March 8 to March 22, 2024.
- The survey will take about 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
- The survey will be available in English and French.
- The survey will be sent to a sample of caregivers who submitted an application through one of these pilots between 2019 and 2023.
