ST. CATHARINES, ONTARIO – Rick Dykstra, Member of Parliament for St. Catharines, on behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Associate Minister of National Defence, today announced a $3.9 million investment for numerous upgrades at the Lake Street Armoury. This investment will also support job creation and economic growth in the St. Catharines area.
Investments at the Lake Street Armoury will include numerous upgrades, including the installation of new building ventilation, a new sprinkler system, new boiler and heating systems, roofing repairs, and more. The upgrades will ensure that the Lake Street Armoury remains best positioned to provide a modern and safe environment for the men and women who train there.
