Accessibility feedback process at the Public Service Commission

At the Public Service Commission, we are committed to ensuring that our programs, services, workplaces and practices are free of real or perceived barriers. We are working to create a culture of accessibility by default. With this in mind, we have designed this Accessibility Plan as an important step in realizing our vision of a barrier-free Canada by 2040.

Your feedback will help us identify and eliminate barriers to accessibility. We welcome your comments on our Accessibility Plan, or on any other accessibility-related issue.

Ways to provide feedback

We welcome your feedback and comments, as well as your questions, concerns and suggestions about this Plan or any other accessibility issue. There are several ways to provide feedback:

Providing your feedback anonymously

You can provide feedback and remain fully anonymous if you use the online questionnaire or the phone. To ensure anonymity, do not state your name or provide any identifying information.

If you are using an email address that includes your name and want to remain anonymous, state that you would like your feedback to remain anonymous. That way, we will not identify you with anyone beyond Public Service Commission’s Accessibility Office.

For physical mail, if you would like to remain fully anonymous, please do not include your return address on the envelope. If you would like to receive an acknowledgement with a response regarding your feedback, please let us know within your feedback that you would like to remain anonymous but receive a response back. We will not identify you with anyone beyond the Accessibility Office.

Please note that all feedback will be anonymized when we report publicly on all feedback.

What we will do with your feedback

Unless your feedback is received anonymously, we will acknowledge receipt by email to comments received through the online questionnaire or by email within 5 business days.

Acknowledging receipt for comments made by other means will be done by the same means of communication used to communicate with us.

Note that finding answers or solutions to more complex issues might take more time. If that is the case for your comment(s), we will let you know within 5 business days upon receiving your feedback.

We analyze feedback for trends and patterns. We do not identify individuals in our reports.

The only time your feedback will be linked to you is when you request a personal response from our Accessibility Office.

We publish annual progress reports in the years between accessibility plans. In these progress reports, we report on the feedback we receive and how we take it into account.

Acknowledgement

If you submit comments via the online questionnaire, you will receive an automatic confirmation.

If you submit comments by other means, you will receive an acknowledgement and a response by the same means you used to communicate with us.

Our acknowledgement message will include the following information:
