Rates of pay will be adjusted within 180 days from December 18, 2019. Changes to rates of pay with an effective date starting on , up until the salary adjustment date will be paid according to Appendix F as a lump-sum payment. In particular:

  1. Year 5 increases (that is, “E” and “Y”): paid as a retroactive lump-sum payment equal to a 2.0% economic increase and 0.8% wage adjustment, for a compounded total increase of 2.816% of , rates.
  2. Year 6 increases (that is, “F” and “Z”): paid as a retroactive lump-sum payment equal to the year 5 increases plus a 2.0% economic increase and 0.2% wage adjustment, for a compounded total increase of 5.082% of , rates.

Pay notes

  1. The pay increment period for all employees in these scales of rates is one (1) year and a pay increment shall be the next rate in the scale of rates.
  2. The pay increment date for all employees appointed to a position in the Aircraft Operations Group on promotion, demotion or from outside the Public Service, shall be the anniversary date of such appointment.
