Analytical testing service: Oil content – ISO 659:2009 modified by Randall method
Description of service
Oil content of the sample is determined by a modified International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 659 method using the Randall modification for automatic extractor. As required by ISO 659, the extraction solvent is petroleum ether. The method ISO 659 is the reference method recognized by the Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Association (FOSFA).
It takes 4 days to complete this test.
Fees
Fees shown are before tax. The applicable taxes (Goods and Services Tax and provincial sales tax in Quebec) will be collected on these fees.

Service standard
- Documents detailing the results of inspection support services are issued within 2 business days after completion of all required analytical testing or inspection results.
